Open Line was founded by Michelle Rosen-Oberman, a British marketing
copywriter and editor based near Zurich, Switzerland. I provide services
to corporate clients needing professional marketing and communication
support in English - no matter where you’re located.
Why did I name my business Open
Line?
Quite simply, Open Line stands for my promise to you that every text you
receive from me – whether originated, edited or translated –
will be accessible, clear and focused.

Over 25 years of experience
Although I created Open Line in 1999, you benefit today from the expertise
I’ve gained throughout my 25 years in corporate marketing and communication
in the UK and Switzerland.
My career began in London as a marketing publicist for a high-quality book publisher. I then worked in marketing, PR and advertising for internationally-active companies in the high-tech, telecoms and financial services fields in the UK and Switzerland. Working as a freelancer, I serve corporate clients both
directly and through advertising and PR agencies.
Academic qualifications
I graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Social Anthropology,
which has proved a fine foundation for a career built on communicating
between people of different cultures.
